Open on the 1st and last Saturdays only... I usually have no problem with these guys, but recently trying to transfer a title to myself, the clerk put the original owners name on the title. I didn't realize this at the time and now I have to wait on the government, 2 weeks or more, to be able to get the loan to buy the car. No apologies, no reform, no call back for update as promised, just tough luck and now we're at the mercy of the state. Check carefully before leaving this place.

I hardly leave any review on internet but Alpine office forces me to do so. I renewed and paid for my registration tap on online on July 31. I contacted the office to find out the status of mailing it since it has been over 6 weeks. The lady and supervisor, John wanted me to download a form, get it nortarlized, and mail it to them and then they would mail the replacement. I only have 12 days to do so before my current tab expires. I asked them why I had to go through all this when I never received it on mail, not to mention about busy work schedule. Things that made me upset were they refusd to apologize for all this inconveince and kept saying that they don't know if I received the mail or not. Also the supervisor/ manager, John refused to give me his last name when I asked for it to file a complaint. What kind of service is this? They were unable to provide any tracking # or any proof that they have sent it and tried to blame someone else like post mail carrier, Kansas state and Govn't for myself being out of state and not able to registering in person at the office due to my military duty assignment. I hope others don't have to go through what I am experiencing now. This is the worst registering experince I ever had for the last 19 years and I would never ever going to renew my tab through this office.

  • This place had a lot of terrible reviews. I came around 1pm and was pretty busy. They moved through people just fine and didn't take very long. I came to get my car registered, the staff member was helpful and efficient. I left with new license plates and crossing the "to-do" off my list. It's a DMV, I didn't show up expecting a 5 star hotel. I showed up expecting to be bored for a little bit, to spend some money, and to accomplish my task. All points were a success.

  • Your standard run government building with all the paper work and hassle you could want. Customer service is so-so to hit or miss. Online is a great place to go to rip and vent about terrible experiences. I've generally had "decent' service when I've come here. It's relatively quick if you need to purchase vheicle tabs. Other stuff can vary. Why so many bad reviews? If you're rude to them they are allowed to speak their mind and use the resources to make your time here terrible. It's the customer who creates the experience. Not the other way around. That is what I've noticed here. You people leaving the negative reviews are crazy.
